CatherineCATHERINE M. BOWMAN (Adminassist@TheBowmanLawOffice.com) received her BA from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, in psychology and sociology with a minor in economics, and immediately entered the University of Georgia, where she received her Juris Doctorate.

Ms. Bowman was admitted to the bar in Savannah, and began practicing civil litigation, primarily insurance defense, in the areas of casualty, professional malpractice, and worker's compensation. Catherine Bowman later began to practice Employment Law as well, originally as an attorney for the Employee, and then expanding her practice to include working on behalf of the Employer. As insurance companies began to write more employment practices policies, insurers employed Catherine to represent their insured Employers, as well. On April 1, 2007, Catherine Bowman opened The Bowman Law Office in Savannah, Georgia, continuing to focus her practice on personal injury litigation and employment law. Ms. Bowman also consults with employers to improve human resources and employee relations and to take preventative measures and ensure compliance with employment laws.

Ms. Bowman has been awarded an AV preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell; and is in Georgia Top Lawyers, Legal Leaders. She has been rated a Superb 10.0 of 10.0 by AVVO.

In 2012, Ms. Bowman was named one of two "Best Lawyers" by the Savannah Magazine. Ms. Bowman has been named to Georgia Trend's "Legal Elite" in the practice of employment law. The members of Georgia's "Legal Elite" were voted and selected by other lawyers in their practice areas and of more than 34,000 licensed attorneys in Georgia, 330 attorneys were selected in eight practice areas.

Catherine Bowman has also been active in many legal organizations. She is currently the immediate past president of the Savannah Bar Association and has also served as the Treasurer and the President of the Younger Lawyer's Section; and has been on various committees for the Bar, including doctor/lawyer; grievance, and was the chair of the New Lawyers Orientation committee. Ms. Bowman has been a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association since she began to practice law, was the Chair of the Employment Law Committee in 2007 and has contributed a number of articles to their newsletters.

CamD. CAMPBELL BOWMAN, JR. (Cam@TheBowmanLawOffice.com) received his BA in economics from Hampden-Sydney College and immediately entered the University of Georgia, where he received his Juris Doctorate. Mr. Bowman was admitted to the bar in Columbus, Georgia, and began practicing civil litigation, primarily insurance defense. He moved to Savannah in 1987 and clerked for the late Judge Charles B. Mikell, Jr. After several years he went into private practice in the areas of civil litigation and insurance defense.

Mr. Bowman has extensive litigation experience, working many years as in-house litigation counsel for insurance companies (focusing on trying as many cases as possible), as well as working in private practice handling civil and criminal matters. While Mr. Bowman's primary experience lies in personal injury cases, he can handle any litigation matters. As civil cases tend to end up in court less frequently, Mr. Bowman has begun turning his practice more towards criminal defense and family law, so that he can do the litigation he enjoys and at which he excels.

Mr. Bowman has also been active in many legal organizations. He is a member of the Savannah Bar Association, and has been on various committees for the Bar, including the lawyer grievance, and law library committees. Mr. Bowman has been a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers and had contributed articles to its annual newsletter.
